چکیده
Abstract Human–computer interaction (HCI) is an for mutual communication between humans and computers. HCI needs to recognize the human state quantitatively in real-time. Although it possible evaluate condition by measuring biological signals, challenge that often requires physical constraints. There increasing interest a non-contact method of estimating physiological psychological states facial skin temperature using infrared thermography. However, due individual differences face shape, accuracy estimation thermal images was sometimes low. To solve this problem, we hypothesized spatial normalization image (SN-FTI) could reduce effect shape. The objective study develop SN-FTI on states. First, attempted features. results suggested would result same shape among individuals. Since there are distribution, inter-individual correlation coefficient be lower than intra-individual coefficient. Next, modeled estimated drowsiness level SN-FTIs compared with Normal. showed slightly improved discrimination rate level. were structure

متن کاملEvaluation of Two Facial Nerve Landmarks Frequency in Parotidectomy
Background & Aim: Various landmarks are discussed to find the facial nerve during parotid surgery. The surgeon should use existing landmarks for a safe surgical use. To evaluate two new landmarks in parotid surgery, this study was done. Methods & Materials/Patients: This cross-sectional study was conducted on 43 patients with parotid masses, whom were referred to Alzahra and Kashani tertiary...
متن کاملEye-Blink Detection Using Facial Landmarks
A real-time algorithm to detect eye blinks in a video sequence from a standard camera is proposed. Recent landmark detectors, trained on in-the-wild datasets exhibit excellent robustness against face resolution, varying illumination and facial expressions. We show that the landmarks are detected precisely enough to reliably estimate the level of the eye openness. The proposed algorithm therefor...
متن کامل3D Facial Image Comparison using Landmarks
Many researches have been dealing with the face recognition challenge of the great variability in head rotation and tilt, lighting intensity and angle, facial expression, aging, etc. The last few years more and more 2D face recognition algorithms are improved and tested on less than perfect images. However, 3D models hold more information of the face, like surface information, that can be used ...
متن کاملReproducibility of facial soft tissue landmarks on facial images captured on a 3D camera.
OBJECTIVE Fast and non-invasive systems of the three-dimensional (3D) technology are a recent trend in orthodontics. The reproducibility of facial landmarks is important so that 3D facial measurements are accurate and may-be applied clinically. The aim of this study is to evaluate the reproducibility of facial soft tissue landmarks using a non-invasive stereo-photogrammetry 3D camera. MATERIA...
